The problem is that loonies like this, see us as people who "believe
something even more obvious than the planet Earth, doesn't exist".

You'll never pierce the veil of wilful, self-imposed bigoted ignorance no
matter how often you try.

It's like saying there's no evidence for the Earth.

And then nit-picking between not believing in it, and believing it doesn't exist.

They can't grasp that it is merely "somebody else's religious belief".

I've had too many believers off the net, who are otherwise sensible,
dismissing this as ridiculous because that's not how they see it.

Yet I only try to explain it after they have got it wrong.
