Yes, they are a Max 3.x command.  The "-2a" tells Silt to create files that
are compatible with Max 2.x utilities.  I use -2a to keep FEBBS happy.
FWIW, I also use DLC here, and have no problems.  (though I only use it to
update my download counters.)
