ZR> Yeah, I know what you mean about those school stores. We go
ZR> almost every
ZR> month to pick up a few things. This month I spent over 70 dollars! :(
ZR> The most expensive items were the musical instruments (we bought
ZR> bongo drums for $24 and three other less expensive things -- a
ZR> tambourine, jingle tap and recorder)... and also the numbers bingo was
ZR> almost $10... but it has really come in handy -- my son (the one who
ZR> doesn't even know numbers up to 10 yet at
ZR> age 6) is very happy playing this bingo game so hopefully it will help
ZR> him pick up on the names of numbers up to 20.
Sounds like you had a ball shopping!! I had to pay the electric
bill today, so I won't have any extra :( I used to play the bongo
drums when I was younger and I am deaf . Been deaf since 4 and a
half and loved to play the drums. I still love drum beats to this
day. Must be something to do with my indian heritage . 7th
generation mohawk hehe. My youngest daughter is 8th generation
mohawk and 3rd generation Cherokee. (1/4 th Cherokee). She is
going to love learning about her heritage as I plan to explore it in
depth this year. Found a homeschool support group and I like what
they have here, but looks like I am going to have to call the
coordinator tomorrow. :)
ZR> I figured that since I wasn't having to buy school clothes for Aaron
ZR> that we could spend more on education -- and just Cimeron got the
ZR> clothes this year.
ZR> Zaynab
Sounds about right. The only thing Naomi needs this year/winter is
a new coat!! Or rather a used new coat as we do most of our
shopping at the thrift stores.
