There is a new release (Fido-Package deluxe v2.6) available on
http://www.fido-deluxe.de.vu
Within the next several days it will also be available via the Fido systems
that are connected to the CDP file echo. Please wait for these

 v2.6  (12-FEB-2006)

       + New language added: Spanish. Many thanks to the translator
         Albano de Manuel!

       - Uninstall improved (Win XP and languages).

       + In installation the selection bar is set to LAN connection if an
         internet connection over LAN is recognized.

       + There is a new CDP node in the selection.

       - DNS entries of Monika added and partly corrected (dropped dyn. DNS
         service of fidosoft.de).

       - At installation address for updating the CDP-Nodelist changed
         (as well because of dropped fidosoft.de service).

       + During the "Problem-Check" in the menu "Infos about
Fido, Help, ..."
         a corresponding message is given now when an error occured during
         reading of the binkd.cfg, or if the DNS entry for the node is
         missing or faulty.

       + If there is no or a faulty DNS entry in the "node"-line in the
         binkd.cfg, a warning is now given when entering the configuration
         from the main menu. Correction is possible now.
