You can't delete the logged on user.  Go to UPM services, add a new
user under some user ID but without a password.  Log in under that ID,
then go to UPM and edit your original entry using the 'manage users'
menu item to delete the password requirement.  Log on under that ID
and delete any temp user ID's you might have added.  Basically, an
administrator can change only limited items of his own user info while
logged on.  As for why, assume that you are the only user with admin
authority.  If you delete yourself, how do you make any further admin
changes????
