>Lets see if I understood you correctly. Are you saying that my
Clipper 5 + FiveWin 1.9.2 application for 16 bit can be compiled/linked
with xBase++/FiveWin UNCHANGED for a 32 bit application ?
>
YES!!! We have already built a FiveWin 32 bits DLL (using Alaska XBase++
and Borland C compiler 32 bits) that contains the entire FiveWin
library, and that it is already working like a champ with existing
FiveWin samples !!!
YES!!! UNCHANGED source code!!! Just a minor little things to fix, like
3D clause (XBase++ refuse it) that has to be renamed into _3D. But that
is all! (I am 100% serious). There is a new FiveWin.ch (and also a new
Objects.ch), and a new ClipApi.h for your C source code (in case you
have some).
Just recompile your app and you are ready to go!!! Exactly the same
FiveWin source code is full compatible Clipper and XBase++. 100% !!! We
are just keeping here _ONE_SET_ of source code (PRGs and C modules) for
both of our products. This is what really gave us the advantage. One set
of source
code --> 16 and 32 bits products.

If not, could you be VERY SPECIFIC on exactly what will be taking
place in the future with FiveWin. Your announcements to date have many
of us VERY confused.
>
We are practically ready to deliver FiveWin 1.9.5 that has been modified
already to be 100% Alaska XBase++ compatible. So you have a Five.lib,
FiveC.lib, Objects.lib and WinApi.lib for your 16 bits Clipper+FiveWin
applications, and a Five32rt.dll and Five32rt.lib for your XBase++ +
FiveWin 32 bits version.
Just to give you an idea: The traditional IDE is provided with FiveWin
is _already_ working 32 bits with _NO_ source code changes at all.
We plan to start uploading first demos next week. Yes, NEXT WEEK!!!

Looks quite promising!
