Looking for a REBUILT or REBUILDABLE powerhead for a 1976 135hp.
V4 JOHNSON outboard.
The powerhead I have NOW needs a crank and rods, and pistons.
MOST of the MAIN parts of the unit.
I don,t know if this way is worth the effort or if I should just
find a RUNNING motor and go with it.
My lower unit is in good shape, but needs a prop.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPREICATED,,, CHARLIE
ALSO WHAT SIZE POWERHEADS WOULD BOLT-ON TO THE 135 LOWER UNIT ??
COULD I GO WITH A 115 OR 125 AND USE MY LOWER UNIT ??
