Ah! You can speak for your son's experiences and feelings? Telepathy run in
your family? It's difficult enough to speak for someone else's experiences 
when one has been through similar straits themselves...Sorry, I didn't really
MEAN for that to sound sarcastic. It's just that while I dig and encourage 
you to have a good dialogue with your child, you can't neccesarily speak FOR 
your child, if you see what I mean. What *I* experienced was 11 years of 
prescribed Ritalin and then cold turkey. Not a lowering of dosage. Not even a 
switch to a placebo. And, as I said in the last post, it wasn't very pretty.
It played hell with me, my familial relationships, and my schoolwork. 
Physically, it was a lot like quitting smoking. Mentally it was much rougher.
Rightly you shouldn't try to explain what I experienced. Hell's Bells, I have 
a rough enough time trying to explain what I experienced myself! :-)
