Hi, does anyone know how Maximus's IPC files work? I want to change the
text indicating what each user is doing (transferring a file, available for
chat,external program, etc) so that if they're in a door, everyone else
knows which door. Is it safe to simply change the text starting at byte 38
in the IPC??.BBS, and put a null terminator on it, or can this move around?

Also, is this text ever used by Maximus for anything other than simply
displaying to the callers? ie if you change it, will Maximus get confused?
