RD>I have another problem:- I wanted to replace it with two 's. I
RD>can't just enter them at the "Replace" prompt, as this just terminates
RD>the entry. When I enter "Alt 13" I get two flag symbols.
RD>In the Professional YAM Comm. program there are "character escapes" one
RD>can use to represent control characters. e.g. is "\r". Is there an
RD>equivalent in TSE?
ROB, the best way to do this is to write a macro.
Try this:
Press Ctrl and M to begin recording macro
Press Alt and . (period): Assign to Alt . (period)
Press Ctrl and F to find character
Press Alt and 12 for page symbol then press ENTER
Press I to ignore case
Press Delete to remove page symbol
Press Alt and 13 2 times
Press Ctrl and M to end recording macro
Now each time you press Atl and . (period) simultaneously
TSE Jr. will find the page symbol, delete it and replace
it with two CR's
Hope this helps.
