I'm not totally but, but i am legally blind as a result of an auto accident 
in 1971.  I have no vision in my right eye and am about 20/250 with 
correction in my left.  I began playing in 1962 and still try to keep at it

If you are familiar with the fundamentals, maybe your best approach is to 
listen to a lot and then work to find the best way for you to play it.  
That's how most of the original music was created and passed on.
