MS ->I have problems with disk mechanic in clipper application under
->Windows NT. I can't copy a file on disk at times even thought
->it is all right. (command : copy file .. to .. -> error
->sharing violation). Function DiskReadyW() (CA-Tools) result
->.F. always. atc. Can you help me ?
Many of the Clipper disk access functions "talked" directly to the
hardware, which is not permitted under NT for security purposes. The
Nanforum library function FT_FLOPTST() function for testing whether a
floppy drive is ready is one of them. That may be the problem with
DiskReadyW().
Are you sure your file is closed before you try to copy it, and that
where you're trying to copy it there isn't an open file of the same
name?
