One thing I do to properly format the string which holds the data drive
as well as path, assuming the \ on the end exists on not! This means
that a user can supply "c:\netmail" or "c:\netmail\" and both work
fine. I also check for the existence of at least 2 characters in the
string, so that "A:" for example will work, but anything less will
report an error as invalid drive without crashing the program.
Its the small things which make programming a pain in the ass, but fun!
