subject: vcr for audio

Hi I am thinking of getting a small VCR to record audio on mainly
for long meetings and other times when I want an extended
recording time, like several hours, not just the hour a side of a
c-120 cassette.
I am also thinking it might be an interesting way to liven up
cassette correspondence, by possibly using a cam-corder or
throwing in parts of local tv programs recorded off air.
I guess my questions are:
-does anyone know of a good, small, easy to use VHS portable vcr
with mike inputs?
2. anyone know of a VCR that will let me record on the SAP
channel?
3. anyone else blind tried being their own tv producer? How did
it work out?
Thanks.
