A few days ago I called Doug Boone's bbs. his message on his mail screen said 
opus was still being developed. hewas up to ver 2.00.03 or so in opus 2.0. I 
don't want to send false hopes but it lookes like he is doing his work when 
he can spare the time. After all unlike Lanius softwares Maximus. Opus is not 
doug boone's main occupation.
        Some have asked about the Opus 1.79 gamma stuff. Its on doug boones 
bbs availible for freq if you want it. I am not sure which gamma part you 
want. but several sub versions/revisions are online for dload.
Oh yes my favorite command for messages LV* crashed his system ;( sounds like 
a little bitty thing he has to fix. List Verbose since last read.

P.S Several others are going TO opus. from maximus. so apparently opus is not 
dead yet. its just a niche right now. so get your opus compilers up 
programmers and lets code shall we?
