NB> Jim White mentioned in MEMORIES that Jack Yates was going on
NB> vacation... not only does he feed various points, but he also is the
NB> Fido feed for Craig Healy's Chowdanet, at least for most of the Fido

DC> Ah, so if Jack has a problem so does Craig...

In part, anyway... Unless Craig changes where he gets his feed from
again...

NB> echoes but the most dependable usually for sending out has been Chowda,
NB> so I don't usually fall back on the others right away... At this
NB> point, though, I'm starting to test the waters elsewhere(s)... :)

DC> Stay tuned for more info. But, don't hold your breath!

Of the 4 I've tested, messages from 3 have appeared elsewhere. So
that's doing pretty well, actually...

DC> I try to keep more than one feed open for emergencies. I've got
 DC> 3 configured right now.

As I was telling Sean, I'm actually getting message packets (of at least
my important echos, where available) from multiple bbs's, on a regular
basis, so I can see what is/isn't getting out, and who is/isn't having
problems, when there is some glitch of whatever... :) It's just
outgoing that I don't usually utilize elsewhere except in times like
this... :)

... If it can go wrong...it HAS! You just don't know it yet.
