subject: Win XP stuck in Setup Loop

I recently had a situation where I had to run the "repair" option from the
Windows XP CD. Now my PC is in a "loading setup" loop.

If I boot from the CD and use the "repair console" option (where
I "log
into" a command prompt), is there a file I can edit or delete that will
tell XP to stop trying to run setup?

If the answer is edit, does XP or the repair console have a command-line
editor? Been so long since I've needed one, I've forgotten!

Thanks!
