SC> -GE> Here in the Pittsburgh region, we only get 250 peak and 60
SC> -GE> off-peak
SC> -GE> minutes on our demo lines.
SC> That's aweful, I mean, plans better than that are available to the
eneral
SC> public. Cellular One will sell you 600 peak and 120 offpeak for around
69
SC> month add another 13 bucks and they'll give you an extra 500 offpeak
nut
Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile in Pittsburgh will sell you 780 general
purpose minutes for $149.99, with additional minutes costing 24 cents
peak, and 15 cents off-peak, with the first minute of incoming calls
free. What's more, if you have multiple lines, the minutes are
aggregated, so if one user uses less than his full allotment, the
included minutes can be used by other users. There's no billing for
extra minutes until all the users on the plan use up the entire group's
allotment. But I'm talking about the FREE airtime I get just for working
for a BANM agent.
SC> I'm going to have some fun with the Sprint people when they come into
his
SC> market, I'll ask them if they're competitive with regular cellular and
he
SC> they say yes, I'll plop down a bill and ask them to tell me how much
hey'
SC> going to be able to save me.
Based on what I've seen, they'll generally beat the regular cell
companies. The problem with them is that they still don't have full
area coverage.
