Any Linux distributions I've used recently are way over 1 CD other than
minimal "Live" versions.  (They usually come on DVD's or multiple
CD's now.)

You are comparing a very old OS (only OS, no office apps or anything else
for that matter other than email and browser, and a browser that wont work
today on most sites no less) against a modern UNIX variant anyway, so it's
no even close to a fair comparison.

It's more than just exploits that the patches are for btw, but anyway, I
don't know anyone that thinks that other than the same kind of people that
think Windows is invulnerable.

I'm not saying I like Linux, far from it actually, but you do have to be
objective in any comparisons.
