This is the same kind of garbage the NC previous to me used to write in the node echo of our net in an attempt to keep people from cross-posting messages from it. Sounds good on the surface, but what you really mean - and he meant - is that you can bash people, regions, zones or whatever without that becoming public and inviting retaliation. The intersting thing about this is that none of you ZCs made a particularly negative impression in the ZCC messages Renato made public, as I've written elsewhere. Your fears of being torn apart for your private views are totally unfounded, and Renato is perfectly correct that an open discussion leads to less - not more - suspision and recrimination. The only thing I would agree with you in this is that the ZCC echo should be read-only except for ZCs, since there's no justification for permitting clutter and discussions by others there. But there is no justification for the secrecy, and much to be said against it.
