Robert, I hope that you had a nice X-mas.
I have been off the echoes for a while, my BBS lost the feed!
What can I say?
I address this to you as you have given me some right on answers
before. I have addressed a post to all a while back and got no reply
because of the a/n problem. Here goes again.
I "translated" some Wordperfect documents into Word 7.0. Then I
was trying to reformat the margins and such and could not. Randomly in
the documents are some little characters, look like small 4-legged
bugs, that seem to hold control on the paragraphs. I can not get rid of
them! I can not even delete them when I highlight the beasts. Some of
them sit right behind a paragraph character when that button is
selected in the text. Funny thing too, they sit outside of the right
margin. I looked into the symbol page and I was going to do a "replace"
job on them but they are not there. They are close to an "ALT 0164" but
that is not them at all. What can you tell me about them?
The tag says what I am using today.... :-)
Have nice day.
... Is a C=128 really worth 2 C=64? Or more!
