subject: MEX -- What is it?

DW> PEX's are writtten in C or C++ and use a header file
DW> that ties it into to ProBoard. Proboard handles all
DW> of the communication routines you need. Your program
DW> uses these and does what ever it is suppose to do.

If you look at the samples that come in the 3.x file package, you'll see it
is the same concept. Just more people right these for Proboard, WC, etc.
What I have been hoping for a long time now (as other bbs'ers move to MAX)
that someone could build an interface that would "translate" the
one system to mex and thus MAX......
