First off, I'd really recommend you're upgrading to Max. 3.01, Linda.  It's
a fairly "painless" change if you very carefully follow the
upgrade instructions that come with 3.01.  Once you've upgraded you can use
this for messages to everyone:

MMAIL23.ZIP 58,073 12-18-97 MassMail, Version 2.3 - For Maximus 3.x. Send
                            a personal message to each of your users, or
                            let the users send a message to everyone
                            else on the BBS. Freeware!

You also had a question about getting the Maximus FDN areas.  You should be
able to AllFix these areas from your Hub.  They are (from the current
