Does anyone have any objections to my seeking to have discontinued the
gating to Usenet-at-large of the Fidonet AUST_MODEM conference?

The ratio of genuine posts to spam / scam from the Usenet side of the
tracks so far is at best 50/50.  This stuff's only going to go on getting
worse, I fear, but perhaps others see some value in it?  Netmail please ..
