Interesting that USR have already started replacing the faulty EPROMs on
these modems, yet Dynalink refuse to acknowledge that the problem even
exists, even though it's the same bloody modem. Who'd buy another Dynalink
now?

I recently bought 2 x KTX 33k6 modems, one each internal and external, and
although they lack many features which more expensive modems have (and most
of us will never use anyway), they still perform as well as any other
inexpensive Rockwell clone. And at around $160, they are extremely good
value IMO.
