Well it's been a long time in the making, but finally, MSGED/SQ 3.30
has been released. Kieran Haughey has made most of the changes in
this release, including the personal message scan, and Matthew Parker
made spawn.asm assemble under Watcom 10.0b, so now the whole thing
is compiled with Watcom for both DOS + OS/2.

There have been a raft of changes, and as you can tell by the
version number, this is a pretty major version, and although I
have been using it for months myself, there are quite likely
problems that we have not seen before.

This version was compiled using a new version of MSGAPI38.ZIP,
which you would be well-advised getting (if you want to recompile
it), because I have spent a lot of time tracking down one of the
bottlenecks that was affecting me personally, and it turned out
to be in the MSGAPI code, which I have since changed.

MSQ330.ZIP - 496585 bytes
MSGAPI38.ZIP - 255438 bytes

Both available for FREQ from 3:711/934 at V32bis.

Bob Juge, 1:106/2000, in the past has always FREQed this stuff that
I put out, and I suspect that he will be doing so again. So if
you're in zone 1, I'd suggest wait 2 weeks after getting this
message, and then try him.

Bill Bond, 1:325/118 also will likely get it one way or the other,
so wait 3 weeks and try him if he is closer to you.

If you are in Zone 3, then you might want to wait 2 weeks, and then
try David Drummond at 3:640/305, as he has a USR V.34 so you will
be able to get it quicker, assuming he FREQs it as usual.

For those of you who get the PDOMAIN TIC echo, MSQ330.ZIP (only)
will be winging its way to you as we speak.

Special thanks to Kieran and Matthew for all their work. BFN. Paul.

P.S. Here's a blurb for those who don't know what MSGED is...
