Actually, all you have to do is start again, as it is afterall, a NOVRAM
which will be overwritten. So I think the greatest danger comes from putting
the wrong code in it! (That would be interesting...)

Of course, we could (and should) have UPS's just in case we have a penchant
for doing computing only during thunderstorms, and such like. However, there
is the possibility, with a UPS, that it cuts in without one noticing. As
published in a UK magazine, a Sysadmin was typing a report in natural light
by a window and was totally unaware the power had failed. Evidently, the
software had failed to work, and hence his work was lost.

That was relevant, wasn't it....
