BC> Automatic packet rename Yes
BC> Option menu at packet close No
BC> +-- Auto save pkt bookmarks Yes
JP> By the way, I have the rename set to NO.
I set it to "Yes" so it changes the message packet extention to a
number.
The next packet gets the next higher number.
Otherwise you have to move the packet, or the next incoming will
overwrite the older one.
I like to keep old message packets for reference.
Eventually I'll use one of the programs to save the messages to
one big packet for archiving.
JP> Yesterday, I D/Led a .zip of BW/386, ran it and lo&behold, it saves
JP> the bookmarks. I was quite surprised. Are you ?
I've never had that problem with mine.
JP> It also presented a further small problem. The nag will not go away
JP> even if I enter my provided numbers. (jparrot427{at}aol.com) But it
JP> does save the bookmarks. Go search.
BW/386 doesn't use the same registration key as BW/DOS.
The Key Generator was made different to foil hackers.
I registered both versions, way back when, since I was running a
286 and a 486 at the time.
