             Sexual Allegations in Divorce - The SAID Syndrome
Listed in alphabetical order are materials related to The SAID Syndrome; the
acronym SAID was created by authors Gordon Blush and Karol Ross for their
1987 paper "Sexual Allegations in Divorce: The Said Syndrome". The paper was
initially published in Laches (Number 254; March 1987) a publication of the
Oakland County Bar Association, State of Michigan; in June 1987 their paper
appeared in the Conciliation Courts Review, a publication of the Association
of Family and Conciliation Courts.
Also related to The SAID Syndrome are materials concerned with the Abuse 
lle-
gation Project announced in 1986 in the Family Advocate (Vol 8 (3).  This 
ro-
ject by researchers Nancy Thoennes and Jessica Pearson of the Association of
Family and Conciliation Courts Research Unit resulted in numerous papers & 
he
manual "SEXUAL ABUSE ALLEGATIONS IN CUSTODY AND VISITATION CASES: A Resource
Book for Judges and Court Personnel". The manual was published in February
1988 by the National Legal Resource Center for Child Advocacy & Protection,
American Bar Association (ISBN 0-09707-358-4).
In 1990 this author was given permission by Karol Ross to use the acronym 
AID
and The SAID Victim was written.  Ironically the editor of the Conciliation
Courts Review had asked me two years earlier to write a similar paper for
them.
