I hope you don't mind me jumping in here.

Regarding your comment on not knowing where a person is physically
located from the BBS origin line - I'm actually in Melbourne,
Australia but telnet into "My Desk BBS" which has all the echos I
wanted. The BBS is located near Tecoma, WA, USA - a long way from
home, but it works... a strange old world ain't it ;-)
