Hello Bruce, ' tis a nice day today.

For a lurker, you do not miss much !

 BC> Automatic packet rename Yes
BC> Option menu at packet close No
BC> +-- Auto save pkt bookmarks Yes

BC> I think your setup has that last line set to "No".

Nope. I first started toggling these lines when you mentioned them to
me. Funny how the "Option menu..." will allow/prevent the bottom line to
work. I had them set both ways and still the bookmarks are not saved.

By the way, I have the rename set to NO.

Yesterday, I D/Led a .zip of BW/386, ran it and lo&behold, it saves the
bookmarks. I was quite surprised. Are you ?

It also presented a further small problem. The nag will not go away
even if I enter my provided numbers. (jparrot427{at}aol.com) But it does
 save the bookmarks. Go search.

BC> "Pack replies at reader exit" is set to "No" so
they "Pack" at
 BC> Packet exit.

I only use one BBS, Doc's, so this is not a problem.

BC> As before, do an "F1" on each line to get a detailed explanation.

This is very nice as compared to the 2.12 version. The F1 gives the
relevant help as per the present screen. Nice .

BC> How are you EXITing from BlueWave ?
BC> If you are using Alt-X, switch to the Esc key.

I use the Esc key, Bruce. But the menu offers the prompt to Quit with a
. Hum ! maybe the Esc is a DOS thing. I take it back, I do not use
 the Esc key.

BC> Is your ZIP compression done by ZIP.EXE or PKZIP.EXE ?
 BC> Archivers
 BC> ZIP Compression C:\BWAVE\BWPACK.BAT {at}F {at}I

This is what I have as advised by you when I first got on 2.30. It
packs them good and does away with the Y2K BW problem as I can see
looking at my .rep as posted on the BBS and as you can see too. Date
is fine and no digit in front of the To: Name. I copied over to the
/386 all these settings. All is fine save for the nag.

 Thanks again for your patience.
