Looks like the "Goodtimes" Gang has stepped up in the world. If someone
wrote a virus that could look at specific files such as MS-WORD files and
retrieve such info, I might believe it...but a virus that can look into any
kind of file and retrieve credit card info, passwords and P.I.?
I don't think so...the virus itself would have to be enormous and very well
thought out to be able to retrieve that info from any kind of file...because
you have to consider that some programs encode their data using completely
different data encoding methods. Someone could perhaps write one that could
look into text based data files for "strings" such as number that resembled
social security numbers, such as ???-???-????, or even credit card numbers,
where it looked for a number that had 4 four number sequences like most VISA
cards have...but the rest...sounds like complete B.S.
