Less. You can read fidonet on the internet, with a browser designed for
browsing the internet. No Fidonet software required. You can browse a
Fidonet BBS via the internet by using telnet software. Telnet is built
into all Windoz software, not to mention there are 3rd party telnet
programs that act similar to your dial-up software.

They'll honor a request to not allow anyone on the internet side to post
in the echo, but they're not obligated to read and follow your echo rules
in doing so. You'll find every echo publically distributed in Fidonet,
readable on the internet. Since, as a point and not a member of fidonet,
you have no say in the matter, other than with the distribution systems
who move your echo. In that, your only recourse is to remove your echo
from distribution.
