| subject: | BLINKING Vista Home Basi |
Hi All, Vista Home Basic is on my Acer Notebook which I most always run from AC power. There are three Accounts on the box, an Administrator and a Standard user and one for a Guest account, the Guest account is OFF. I normally use the Standard user Account. I find that when the Standard user Account is being used that oftentimes I will get a request for A Administrator to Approve Something I am doing, so I click the button to allow what I am doing and Continue On. It bothers me that after when I select either of the two users to use that the Notebooks LCD screen will BLINK several times. As I am writing this, I chose to open the Administrator account so that I could see ALL of the User Accounts listed in Control Panel and ater clicking the icon for the Administrative User the screen BLINKED! Is this normal for Windows Vista Home Basic to do? I can't remember if the Blinking Happens ONLY when I select to use the Administrator account or not, I will have to pay attention the next time I go to the Standard user account.
