   Then Red Hat Enterprise Linux or its derivative, CentOS would be better
from this point ov view because they issue fewer, more thoroughly tested updates.

   The part I haven't figured out yet is if it is possible to get only a
security subset of updates.   Yum Update knows the dependency tree so it
will retrieve any additional dependent packages when requested.
