No we are not mixing apples and oranges. I was talking about apples
and he was talking about oragnes.

The bluewave door is on the bbs end and the reader is on the users end.
The reader will handle BlueWave packets and QWK packets. Most doors
will only handle one type of packet. IE: BlueWave or QWK or what ever
other type of packet may be out there. He was asking about how the
door would function with telnet and I misinterpreted it and answered
 about the reader. (my mistake)

When you go to Doc's and download you mail packet (QWK) you are using
the QWK mail door on Doc's BBS running Wildcat software. I am not sure
if there is a Bluewave door for Wildcat. When I use Doc's I do the
same thing. But when I get Mail from Juge running Maximus software I
use the BlueWave door and get a BlueWave packet. Maximus has a built
in QWK door but Bob Juge has a third party BlueWave door installed that
 I am using.

Have I made my self clear? If not ask away and I will try to make it
 more clear.
