He is.  Computer manufacturers use a bulk key when building their disk
images, so the key returned by a keyfinder will differ from that on the
outside of the machine.  There was a brief discussion of this in the nthelp
group some time back, which prompted me to make a list of both the sticker
keys and the install keys for my machines.
