dr> Now to get on topic. Have you read any of James Patterson's books?
dr> I picked up one titled Kiss the Girls. Wow! Can't put it down. His
dr> style is much different than any author I've ever read. Keeps his
dr> chapters to about 2 and half pages, the writing snappy and keeps you
dr> on the edge of your seat. One of those books that makes the hair stand
dr> up, but you can't help turning the pages. First time to read him for
dr> me, but will be looking for others by him.
FT> They are very popular. A friend gave me his first three books and they
FT> sit in the TBR pile. His newest "Jack and Jill" was just released.
Helloooo Suzzie:
Good to hear from you. As you probably know by now, my modem
bit the dust so was down for awhile.
Gonna add this one to my list of Patterson. Want to find the
one previous to Kiss the Girls. Title: Along Came a Spider.
Hear it's very good too. Guess I'll be haunting the Public
Library again. Does he do the 2 and 1/2 page bit in all of his
books? I love this style. Not a lot of extra words to distract
you. Believe me, at this stage of my life get distracted very
easily. Not just in my reading. (g)
Well lady, gotta go. Am waiting for my son to call me from
Arizona. We are having a bit of a family crisis at the moment.
A dearly loved cousin is in the hospital and not expected to
live. So sad. Poor man has been through hell. Survived throat
cancer 6 years ago and has been doing quite well. They think
he might have had a stroke but aren't sure. Say a prayer for
him.
Back later.
