Yeah, I was getting the same results here, and when I installed SIO 16.0d
and try to run VMODEM I get:

[D:\irex]vmodem
A non-recoverable error occurred.  The process ended.

Do you or anyone else have any ideas?  Myself, I am running eCS 1.2.
