hmmm....  You guys make me glad I didn't have a daughter, just a son...!
His teen years were bad enough!  

I have a foster daughter, of sorts... my niece has been living with us
while she is at college.  She started college at age 17, started living
with us her second year; guess it's a good thing that she's moved out of
the monster age?   ;)

To be fair, though... it may be a little different since I am neither
her mother nor her father...    And since she started college in the
dorms, I've been inclined to treat her more as an emancipated adult and
less as a child that needs strict rules.
