As far as I remember, dosemu is quite compatible with "real" DOS.
I used it to run some Fido software two or three years ago (BinkleyTerm,
Squish & friends). A "simple" program like bonk really
shouldn't be a problem for dosemu.
However, I cannot compare it to doscmd, since I didn't really use doscmd
until now. I tried to use doscmd some months ago, but gave up for some
reason I can't remember now. :)
