Pacifica, just South of San Francisco, is said to be THE foggiest place
on the coast.
But, yeah, the Oregon/Washington coast is LOVELY. Pretty much anywheres
north of SF would be my dream place to settle in....

And you gots the Coast Ranges right there for your snow fix, and the
Cascades not to much further over....
