Well... on the topic of ohms... I have a set of DCM speakers (please stop
laughing :) ), hooked up to a JVC reciever (I said stop laughing! ;) )... the
reciever has one of those nice warning tags saying not to go below 8 ohms;
however, the speakers are 6 ohms (I didn't know this at the time when I
bought them). Will this hurt anything, besides shortening the life of my
reciever a bit? It seems to run slightly warmer, though I usually keep it
turned down fairly low (it goes up to 30, I normally keep it at 2-3). It's
rated (by JVC mind you) at 120x2 @ 8 ohms...
