It sounds like your version of hpt has perl support correctly built.  It
appears that the POSIX module is missing.  During my short period of time
that I ran hpt under windows, I did not use the filter.pl that I gave you. 
I didn't start until after going to unix but I cannot imagine that one
cannot install that module.  In fact, I recall installing modules for
activestate but since I only did it once I cannot recall the procedure. 
I'll see what I can dig up. Anyone else here know how to do this?
