Forget all that. The SVT has adjustment test points (as well as adjustment
pots) on the front panel, behind the grille cloth. It couldn't be easier.

It most certainly can. I was popped by a SVT (hey, it was early morning, I
just got into the shop and hadn't had my morning coffee yet), and it threw me
back about 5 feet into a wall. I was like a stunned deer. No fun, trust me.
The SVT has some really manly voltages inside it.
