The poster offered an e-mail address for "more information". If you don't
know what "more information" you should be asking here are some.

What is the exact name of the registery?
Before the breeding were the sire and dam each tested for the following:
	Eyes certified normal.
	Hips clear.
	Thyroid tested.
What certifiying agency is keeping the records for the above tests?
What other problems common to the Sheltland Sheepdog did you test for
before breeding? What problems did you look for in the pedigree?
Are both sets of grandparents still alive and in good health? If not
provide details. How can I contact their owners?
Are all four greatgrandparents still alive and in good health? if not,
provide details. How can I contact their owners for more informaiton?
Do the sire and dam participate in activites that allow objective
evaluation of their temperament, biddablity and breed related qualities?
What steps have you taken to show your puppies are better quality than
average?

Remember, there are no perfect breeders BUT you can choose to not support
breeders that simply add to the pet overpopulation problem. You can
expect more from a breeder than just producing dogs. If you think that a
person adding to the population of dogs should directly help dogs in
trouble for lack of homes, then use the checklist as a guide to decide.
