-=> Quoting Jean Parrot to Bruce Clark <=- JP> Hello Bruce, 'tis a nice day today ! BC> If you put a copy of PKZIP.EXE in your BWAVE folder, BC> then your BWPACK.BAT commands can be: BC> C:\BWAVE\BWREPFIX.EXE %2 BC> C:\BWAVE\PKZIP.EXE -EX %1 %2 JP> I have done all this diligently and guess what ? Yesterday, I did a JP> one reply U/L and it was fine, no mangling of the name even. I then JP> proceeded to do the rest of my replies and they all had a digit in JP> front of the TO: 1name. And I had not changed anything ! This post to JP> you is another test. Let us see how it goes. Supposedly, if I read the BWREPFIX.DOC correctly, it will remove the the preceeding number in "To: 1Name" when you bundle the message. I had the same problem with my 2.30 (DOS), but it turned out that I didn't have the proper "path" to the batch file entered in the BlueWave config area. (Has it been over 4 years since I used that program?) When you entered the "path" in the BlueWave config area, did you make sure to "Quit" and Save it to disk? JP> Tell me, if I 2-click on the BWPACK.BAT I get a notepad text to read JP> but if I left click on it, I get a choice of command and I elect the JP> edit one and then I can do the work as you suggested. What gives ? JP> You can tell my level of expertise in this. That sounds like a Windows mouse clicking thing. If it was Win3.11, I might suggest something, but the later versions work differently. I don't use a mouse in BlueWave, or almost any DOS program for that matter.
