| subject: | OS/2 Event utility? |
Hi David, PK> My approach would be to implement that REXX code as event PK> driven and use PIPE's to control it. This means a SLEEP is PK> not needed, and I would "drive" the REXX script by stuffing PK> messages into the PIPE. Provided its not away doing PK> something, the REXX code will respond instantly.........pk. DC> I would like to echo the other response, can we see DC> some examples please? I wondered if that would come next.....;-) Unfortunately I am on holiday and away from the code at the moment, however I will post some simple example code when I get back. The critical part in this is writing the PIPE Server code in REXX, it helps to be familiar with REXX and how to interface PIPES to REXX. The client code can be fairly trivial, however it helps to do this right as well. Regards...........pk. --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: === NZMC Maxie BBS.
