BR> If I do a local logon to my BBS and enter a message in an echo, log BR> off and run SQUISH OUT, the message does not get sent. According to BR> SQUISH.LOG, you'd think Squish isn't even seeing it. BR> If I enter an echomail message in MSGEd, Squish has no problem with BR> it. First of all, a question: Can you read the message from the MSGed or not? Probably not, if that's the problem, most probably you have defined the areas with different filenames in squish and msgarea.ctl, which can happen you know. :) AFAIK, MSGed reads the squish.cfg file in order to get the area definitions, therefore it would be quite normal to be able to toss a message after writing it in MSGed. But Maximus uses its marea.dat and this depends on the msgarea.ctl. Better not be preaching. :) ...
