Sadly, I'm no longer a Spitfire Sysop. Believe me, Spitfire has no corner on batch files from he**. :-) RW> Was wondering how you SF boards are handling your Telnet RW> connections? I've looked at some virual modem software, If you want, I have a package here that I will send to you. It uses Netmodem as the "virtual modem" and has some instructions for making things work. Sadly, there is no free modem emulator for Windows. OS/2 has vmodem, if you run OS/2, but nothing for Windows that I've found. :( Anyway, shoot me an e-mail to "flv (at) sbcglobal (dot) net" and I'll point the file to you. Be sure to tell me what you want. My memory is fading. :-)) Oh, BTW, for anyone that's interested, "ftp://web-idiot.d2g.com" has some Spitfire BBS stuff (utils and such) in two areas there. One is the "y2k" compatible stuff and the other is just stuff. :-) Regards, Frank http://pages.sbcglobal.net/flv http://biseonline.com/r19 --- PPoint 3.01* Origin: Spitfire never dies.
